International Journal of Computer Integrated Manufacturing (IJCIM) reports new research and applications underlining the opportunities and limitations of computer integrated manufacturing in today’s information supported era of global manufacturing. IJCIM is well established and in its 30th year being enthusiastically received by the international manufacturing community. All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Managing Editor, and, if suitable peer reviewed by independent, anonymous expert referees through an international Editorial team and Editor in Chief. All peer reviews are double blind from 2015 with submission online via ScholarOne Manuscripts.IJCIM continues to grow and over the last 3 decades become a key forum for academics and industrial researchers to exchange information and ideas. In response to this interest, IJCIM is now published twelve times a year, enabling the editors to target topical special issues. Topics as diverse as service-oriented architectures, dematerialized manufacturing systems, wireless manufacturing and digital enterprise technologies to name a few. In addition, future issues focused on covering regional funded research such as the EU Horizon 2020 programmes and international manufacturing systems research initiatives are planned.Senior managers and researchers in manufacturing engineering management, industrial engineering, computer science, and systems integration.All published research articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymous refereeing by independent expert referees.
