The National Institutes of Health, National Library of Medicine has accepted JHPN for citation in MEDLINE. This is a great achievement for the journal and recognizes the importance of our profession of palliative nursing and the quality of our journal. JHPN is indexed in MEDLINE which will greatly enhance the dissemination of papers published in our journal.Our recognition by the National Library of Medicine has been a goal for the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA) for many years.
