Such systems may be used as artificial replacements, or aids, for their original biological purpose, or be used in a different setting altogether.As well as original research, Applied Bionics and Biomechanics also publishes focused review articles that examine the state of the art, identify emerging trends, and suggest future directions for developing fields.
