The Journal of Chromatography A publishes papers on all aspects of separation science including chromatography, electrochromatography, electrophoresis, hyphenated and other multi-dimensional techniques, sample preparation as well as detection methods such as mass spectrometry. Contributions consist mainly of research papers dealing with chromatographic and electrophoretic theory, instrumental developments and their analytical and preparative applications. Section A covers all areas except biomedical sciences and biomedical applications of separation science, which are published in section B: Biomedical Sciences and Applications.
